In 2023, these airports served a total of over 1.1 million passengers, reflecting growing demand for air travel in the province. Moncton led the way with 589,000 passengers, followed by Fredericton at 345,000, and Saint John with 175,000.

YQM Moncton – Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport

  • The busiest airport in New Brunswick, YQM handled 589,000 passengers in 2023, connecting the province to major hubs in Canada.
  • Strategically located, Moncton is a key cargo and passenger gateway for the Atlantic region.
  • Offers direct flights to destinations like Toronto, Montreal, and seasonal routes to sunny southern locales.

Moncton International Airport (YQM) was officially renamed Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport in 2016, in honour of Roméo LeBlanc, the 25th Governor General of Canada and a native of nearby Memramcook, New Brunswick. The renaming recognized LeBlanc's significant contributions to Canadian public life, including his work as a Member of Parliament, a Senator, and as Governor General. LeBlanc was celebrated for his dedication to representing the interests of Atlantic Canadians and promoting bilingualism and Acadian culture. The name change was a tribute to his legacy and his deep roots in the region.

YFC Fredericton – Fredericton International Airport

  • Serving the province's capital city, YFC welcomed 345,000 passengers in 2023, providing vital links to domestic and international destinations.
  • Known for its modern facilities and friendly service, the airport is a preferred choice for business and government travellers.
  • Flights to Toronto, Ottawa, and other key cities make Fredericton a central hub for connectivity in New Brunswick.

YSJ Saint John – Saint John Airport

  • Located near the bustling port city of Saint John, YSJ served 175,000 passengers in 2023, offering convenient access to the Bay of Fundy region.
  • A popular choice for leisure travellers, offering seasonal routes to warm-weather destinations.
  • Focused on passenger comfort, YSJ prides itself on its efficient operations and welcoming atmosphere.
