Toronto’s YYZ takes the crown as Canada’s busiest airport, handling a staggering 43.7 million passengers in 2023. This accounts for 29% of the country’s total air passenger traffic and places YYZ among the world’s elite airports—it was the 40th busiest airport globally in 2023.

Canada’s Air Travel Landscape
